The sun rises at 3 AM in June here in Trondheim and offers a spectacular view.
Three nightswimmers entered my frame just as I was trying to capture the view from Skansen bridge. I think they added a great mood to the picture.
The winter months offers some amazing sunsets in Trondheim. These were some of the views that met me while I was walking along Nidelven this afternoon.
Attended a workshop in Bratislava this week and only had a few minutes to walk around and take in the surroundings near the hotel. Here are some pictures from my very brief visit to the Slovak capital.

Trondheim shows itself from its very best side during the month where the trees change their color. Of course we love the summer months, but when the air turns crisp and the autumn colors erupt out my hometown truly is a spectacular scene.
Here’s a gallery I photographed while I strolled along Nidelven on a clear autumn day. I also included a mobile picture of my view from the office this morning.
The Pstereo Festival celebrated their 10th anniversary on August 18-20 2016. As usual one stops to relish the beautiful surroundings of the festival area, and also get to see great music acts. Sigur Rós, Highasakite, Veronica Maggio, Deafhaven, Beach Slang, Snøskred, Bendik and Dumdum Boys were among the highlights.
These were moments I chose to memorize from this year’s festival – shot with my compact camera. Click on the images if you want to enlarge them.
Tonight, I traveled by train towards Trondheim. As we were rolling out from the train station called Hell (that word has a completely different meaning in Norwegian), I saw that the sunset was particularly beautiful on this summer evening. Here are some mobile pictures caught through the window of the train on our way through Trøndelag.
