Pstereo Festival 2015

The Pstereo Festival is a music festival that takes place in the middle of Trondheim once every August. The festival area is placed on the recreation area Marinen between Nidelva, the city’s blue vein, and our famous cathedral Nidarosdomen and consequently offers striking visual surroundings.

The festival tries to combine the classic headliner profile with exciting up-and-comers and I end up each year thinking that some of the best concerts were by bands or artists I didn’t know of beforehand.

At the 2015 edition, my personal favorites were Aurora, Formation, La Roux and Spidergawd.

A weekend in Stockholm

Had the chance to visit the great city of Stockholm in June of 2015. Strolled around in Gamla Stan (Old Town) and visited Skansen Friluftsmuseum (Open Air Museum). Some beautiful sights! Here is a clickable gallery from my weekend in the Swedish capitol.

Top Ten on Flickr

It is always exciting to see which ones of the photos you post online other people find most interesting. Flickr generates statistics on your posts based both on interestingness, views, favorites and comments. Interestingness is a sum of the three latter, I guess.

Let’s have a look at the most interesting first, then at the most viewed. As of right now, out of the 285 photos I have posted on Flickr, these are the most interesting ones according to their stats.

The best viewpoint of Trondheim – Geitfjellet

If you ever visit Trondheim you should try one of the great hiking trails in Bymarka. On the first Saturday of August I hiked up to the Goat Mountain (in Norwegian: Geitfjellet).

It’s not the highest point in Bymarka, but it probably has the best view of Trondheim and the fjord. And on your way down from the mountain you can go by Våttåkammen, which is another great viewpoint.

The name of the mountain derives from its shape, so there’s no need to worry about meeting a stubborn goat or two. I did however meet some sheep on my way up to the woods.

Directions? This runaway sheep met the end of the road.

There's plenty of benches around the hiking trails in Bymarka for those who need a rest on their way. This one has the best view.
